Your Meta and Google data
are both wrong.

Meta inflates ROAS via view-through. GA4 double-counts sessions via GTM triggers. Google Ads bids on phantom conversions. We audit everything — one team, one report, one call.

PASS

3 reasons your entire tracking stack is broken.

Each platform lies differently. Together they create a perfect storm of bad data.

📊

Meta says 8x ROAS, Google says 3x, GA4 says 5x

Each platform claims credit for the same sale. Without a single source of truth, every scaling decision is a guess.

🔢

Your total reported conversions are 3x your actual orders

Meta's view-through + GA4 double-counting + Google Ads cross-network attribution — all adding up to a number nobody can trust.

🤷

You don't know which channel is actually driving revenue

When every platform's data is broken, you can't make a confident budget allocation decision. So you spread spend thin and scale nothing.

🔍 If even one of these sounds familiar, your tracking is worth checking before your next budget increase.

Issue Category What We Check & Fix Business Impact
Cross-Platform Audit Meta, Google, and GA4 audited together in one pass — not as three separate engagements that never get compared. One consistent picture of performance
Attribution Conflicts We find exactly where platforms overlap and double-claim the same conversions across attribution windows. Budget decisions based on real contribution
Single Source of Truth One consolidated report instead of three disconnected platform dashboards telling different stories. Everyone works off the same numbers
UTM Consistency Naming conventions and parameters checked and standardised across every channel and campaign. Clean, comparable channel reporting

A jewellery brand had 3 different ROAS numbers — none of them were real.

Meta Ads Manager showed 8.16x ROAS, Google Ads showed 5.2x, and GA4 showed something in between — three platforms, three different stories, and nobody could agree on what to scale. We audited all three together and found the actual culprit: overlapping attribution windows plus a duplicate GA4 purchase tag. Corrected blended ROAS was 3.8x. Budget was reallocated based on the real numbers, not the best-looking dashboard.

No fixes found, no charge.

On a full stack audit, we have never not found issues. But if we don't surface at least 5 actionable fixes across your platforms, you don't pay.

Every platform lies differently. Together the damage compounds.

Brands with broken cross-platform tracking typically overspend 30-45% on the wrong channels — because no single platform is showing them the real picture.

We were managing Meta and Google separately and getting completely different numbers from each platform. The full stack audit showed the GTM container was the root cause — it was inflating both platforms simultaneously. One fix, both platforms cleaned up.

Common questions.

Ashish Dalal — Founder, TrackThenScale
Building

Hi, I'm Ashish.
I fix the whole stack.

I manage cross-platform campaigns for D2C and fintech brands. The most expensive mistake I see: teams auditing Meta and Google separately — and missing the GTM issue that was inflating both platforms simultaneously.

Cross-platform tracking is where the real money leaks. A single misconfigured GTM trigger can inflate your Meta ROAS, your GA4 sessions, and your Google Ads conversions all at once. You only find it when you look at everything together.

When you book the full stack audit, I personally review all four platforms — Meta, GTM, GA4, Google Ads — and deliver one consolidated picture of what's actually happening.

Why are my Meta and Google ROAS numbers so different?

+

Every platform uses different attribution models, lookback windows, and conversion counting methods. The full stack audit maps how each platform is claiming credit — and finds where they're overlapping or conflicting.

Do I need to give access to all platforms?

+

Yes — read-only to Meta Ads Manager, GTM, GA4, and Google Ads. All four are needed to find cross-platform attribution conflicts.

How is this different from doing a separate Meta audit and Google audit?

+

Cross-platform issues — like a GTM trigger that inflates both GA4 and Meta simultaneously — only surface when you look at everything together. Separate audits miss these.

What is a "single source of truth" and do I need it?

+

A single source of truth is one data source (usually GA4) that you trust over all platform-reported numbers. We configure this as part of the full stack audit.

Can you fix the attribution model too?

+

We recommend and configure the right attribution model for your business — last click, data-driven, or time decay — across both Meta and Google.

What if one platform is fine and the other is broken?

+

We still deliver both audits. The full stack price covers both — even if one platform needs only minor fixes.

How do you handle UTM tracking across platforms?

+

We audit UTM consistency across all paid channels and fix any gaps that cause sessions to be attributed to (direct) instead of the correct source.

Will you check my landing page tracking too?

+

Yes — we verify that tracking fires correctly on all key pages including landing pages, checkout, and thank-you pages for both platforms.

What about Quora, LinkedIn, or other platforms?

+

The full stack audit covers Meta and Google as standard. Additional platforms (Quora, LinkedIn, TikTok) can be added — ask us on the initial call.

How do I know if cross-platform tracking is the issue?

+

If your blended MER (total revenue ÷ total ad spend) looks very different from any single platform's reported ROAS, cross-platform attribution issues are almost certainly the cause.

Do you provide implementation after the audit?

+

The audit includes a fix roadmap you can implement in-house. If you want us to implement everything, that's our Done-for-You Setup service.

What is the difference between this and the Done-for-You service?

+

The Full Stack Audit diagnoses and gives you a roadmap. The Done-for-You service diagnoses AND implements every fix — including building the GTM container, configuring CAPI, and setting up GA4 correctly.
